“General Directorate of Engineering Laboratory” Workshop

The National Transport Safety Center (NTSC) held a technical workshop titled “General Directorate of Engineering Laboratory”, as part of its training initiatives to highlight the critical role of engineering labs in accident investigation processes. The workshop focused on the contribution of engineering laboratories in analyzing evidence and examining crash components, and how their findings support the development of practical safety recommendations across all transport modes. The sessions covered coordination mechanisms between investigation teams and lab units, while showcasing real case examples of how technical analysis helps enhance safety and prevent recurrence through improved system design and operational integrity.
