The National Transport Safety Center (NTSC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology of the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Transport Safety Office, conducted a specialized workshop titled “Maritime Accident Investigation Fundamentals.” The workshop aimed to provide participants with a solid understanding of maritime incident investigation procedures, including reporting mechanisms and response protocols, and to build the investigative capabilities of maritime safety teams. Training sessions covered the investigation process flow, data analysis, and evidence documentation, in addition to joint practical exercises involving both Saudi and Omani participants—fostering regional knowledge exchange and professional alignment in the field of maritime transport safety.
