Captain Tai bin Abdulrahman Al-Shammari, CEO of National Transport Safety Center, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the occasion of the Council of Ministers’ approval of the regulation for the National Transport Safety Center. Captain Tai Al-Shammari affirmed that this decision reflects the wise leadership’s continuous support for the transport sector and its commitment to strengthening safety across all modes of transport, thereby contributing to the protection of lives and assets in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. He explained that the approval marks a new phase of integrated institutional work in the field of transport safety and reinforces the Center’s role as an independent national entity dedicated to advancing safety standards, achieving global leadership, and reducing major accidents through safety investigations, advisory recommendations, and the promotion of a safety culture. He added that the Center will continue to operate with high efficiency and close coordination with relevant entities to enhance safety procedures and further strengthen the Kingdom’s position in transport safety.
