National Transport Safety Center announced its readiness for the Hajj season 1447 AH through an integrated operational plan aimed at enhancing safety levels across all modes of transport, ensuring a safe and seamless journey for the Guests of Allah. The Center has mobilized its human, technical, and technological capabilities for receiving reports and responding to major incidents across all transport modes — aviation, land, maritime, and railway — through a round-the-clock system operating in coordination with relevant entities, ensuring swift handling of reports and heightened response readiness across various locations. The Center also affirmed the readiness of its specialized national workforce, operating in accordance with the highest professional standards in safety investigations, in addition to the preparedness of the Operations Control Center to receive and process reports. Regarding technologies contributing to enhanced safety levels, the Center’s official spokesperson, Engineer Nawaf Al-Ghamdi, stated that the Center employs advanced technologies that support investigation accuracy and improve procedural efficiency, including 3D scanning and imaging, on-site scene documentation using drones, and analysis of technical data extracted from transport vehicles. He added that, in parallel with the Hajj season 1447 AH, the Center will implement several awareness campaigns covering various transport modes to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety among the Guests of Allah. This comes as an extension of the integrated efforts of the transport and logistics sector and its commitment to delivering a safe Hajj experience that reflects the Kingdom’s care and dedication to the Guests of Allah, while supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 through enhancing the quality of services provided to them, increasing their satisfaction, and ensuring their comfort throughout their spiritual journey.
