National Transport Safety Center held a three-day workshop titled "Enhancing Transportation Accident and Incident Reporting with Safety Partners," which covered all modes of transportation (aviation, land, railway, and maritime). The workshop took place from December 8 to 10, 2025, with the participation of 42 government and private entities, and attended by 80 representatives from the transportation system and organizations concerned with the safety of transportation users. The workshop aimed to clarify the center’s scope of work and its role in enhancing the safety of all transportation modes. It also sought to strengthen communication and build a collaborative relationship between the center and safety partners, contributing to improving the quality of reports and the level of response to transportation accidents and incidents. The workshop also featured a review of the experiences of various entities regarding mechanisms for reporting serious accidents, best practices in incident data analysis, and discussions on challenges and ways to improve information exchange and communication channels to ensure fast and accurate reporting. The National Transportation Safety Center continues to implement such training programs aimed at enhancing safety in cooperation with partner entities, raising awareness of the importance of reports, and their role in supporting safety investigations and studies, ultimately contributing to the preservation of lives and resources.
