The National Transport Safety Center (NTSC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Gas and Industrialization Company (GASCO) to strengthen transport safety by coordinating efforts in serious accident investigations, technical analysis, safety research, and the implementation of joint public awareness campaigns. NTSC was represented by its CEO Captain Tai bin Abdulrahman Alshammari, while GASCO was represented by its CEO Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz bin Sulaiman. Under this agreement, both parties will collaborate to exchange expertise and technical knowledge, conduct joint studies and research related to transport safety, and develop digital systems powered by artificial intelligence to monitor the performance of gas transportation trucks and proactively detect potential malfunctions. The MoU also includes provisions for data sharing, conducting joint community and professional awareness initiatives related to safety standards, and providing consultation and technical support in serious accident investigations.
