His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jizan Region, witnessed — in the presence of His Highness Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Deputy Governor of the Region, and His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser — the signing ceremony of a Cooperation Agreement between the Emirate of Jizan Region and the National Transport Safety Center, held today at the main hall of the Emirate’s headquarters. The agreement aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two entities in matters related to transport safety within the region. It seeks to support safety investigation efforts in land, maritime, and aviation accidents, and to develop mechanisms for coordination and the exchange of expertise and information, contributing to improved safety levels and the enhancement of transport quality across all modes in the region. The agreement was signed by Mr. Waleed bin Sultan Al-Sanawi, Undersecretary of the Emirate of Jizan Region, and Captain Eng. Tai Al-Shammari, CEO of the National Transport Safety Center. His Royal Highness, the Governor of Jizan Region, emphasized the importance of this agreement in developing the transport system and enhancing safety standards across the region. He also praised the efforts of the National Transport Safety Center in reducing accidents and supporting sustainable development, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
