Captain Tai bin Abdulrahman Al-Shammari, CEO of National Transport Safety Center, expressed his deepest appreciation and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister — may God protect them — on the occasion of the Council of Ministers’ approval of the template memorandum of understanding between the National Transportation Safety Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its counterpart entities in other countries. He affirmed that this approval reflects the support and attention that the transport sector receives from the Kingdom’s leadership, which contributes to strengthening Saudi Arabia’s international presence in the field of transportation safety and supports cooperation and exchange of expertise with counterpart entities around the world. Al-Shammari explained that the adoption of the template memorandum of understanding will enable the Center to expand its international partnerships, strengthen technical and knowledge cooperation, benefit from global best practices and experiences in transportation safety, and exchange information and technical expertise, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the Center’s operations and improving safety levels across all modes of transport. He further noted that this step represents an extension of the support provided to the Center to enable it to carry out its roles and responsibilities and contribute to the development of the Kingdom’s transportation safety ecosystem in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
